within a community foundation model, The Lost Tree Foundation is able to ensure that funds are judiciously and efficiently awarded to local health and human service organizations.

The Foundation was established in 1981 and began operations in 1982. Its founders envisioned a growing organization committed to the local community and recognized as a valuable resource for effective local philanthropy.

The Foundation remains deeply committed to our neighbors in Palm Beach and southern Martin Counties. Since its inception, the Foundation has achieved a standard of unique and innovative grant making that has had an enormous impact on the less fortunate in our surrounding community. It is the Foundation’s goal to ensure that this philosophy of caring for our community continues to thrive.

The Lost Tree Village Charitable Foundation’s geographic area of concern extends from Delray Beach in southern Palm Beach County to Hobe Sound/Indiantown in southern Martin County and from Palm Beach/Lake Worth in eastern Palm Beach County to the western communities of Belle Glade, Pahokee and South Bay (the Glades).
